Everyday Heroes

Everyday Heroes

Everyday Heroes started with a simple idea: the things carers do every day deserve a little more attention. Created for Vintage Revelations, the recruitment campaign brought that idea to life through a cinematic film and shorter social content. I led it from concept to delivery, connecting a story about the value of care with a practical goal: getting the right people interested in doing it.

My role

I produced, directed and edited the campaign, taking it from the initial concept through scripting, production and delivery. I also adapted the film into shorter social content, keeping the same idea recognisable across the different ways people would encounter it.

Process

I built the concept around the everyday impact of carers, then developed the script and shaped the production around that story. In the edit, I brought together the main film and shorter versions, balancing the emotional message with the campaign’s recruitment purpose.

Reflections

This project brought together the two things I enjoy most: finding a story worth telling and giving it a clear purpose. Seeing the numbers gave me confidence in that approach. It’s a useful creative benchmark: make something people connect with, then give them somewhere to go next.
